10/12/2023 0 Comments Dell wd19tb drivers![]() Once I get my hands on a 3rd monitor, I'll try that connected to the USB-C Displayport output and see if it works, since the manual says it should.FYI - Any dock that uses the Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 chip will work with a TB3 laptop in TB3 mode, or fall back to straight USB-C and Displayport alt mode for laptops that don't. When I switch to both passive adapters, everything started working like it should. I was trying active DP to HDMI adapters which wouldn't work. I had a hell of a time with the monitors, as they use HDMI. ![]() All attached devices and monitors (currently dual 1920x1080) work. I finally got them both working with the WD19TB to the point where she can just move the TB cable between them. I'm not sure if I'm damaging anything over time or not. I'm running it with both the laptop's power adapter plugged in and the docking station's power adapter plugged in. This is not enough to charge my laptop as it requires 180w of power. However, I did find out that this particular docking station provides 130w of power through it's power delivery. If I unplug the power adapter the docking station stops working. ![]() (Note: it told me it couldn't update the firmware of my docking station but it did anyway). The docking station seems to work fine with the power adapter to it plugged in. I installed all the updated drivers and software that were suggested and even updated the firmware. I click continue to bypass this and it boots just fine. When I plugged it in to my Dell G7 17 7790 I got a BIOS warning that I was plugging in a power supply to a port that doesn't support charging. I recently received a Dell WD19TB docking station. ![]()
